Our Founding

The Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company came into existence on June 1st, 1953 with the $500 purchase of a 1928 American LaFrance that was bound for the scrap yard.  The ladies auxiliary was also formed to help support the firefighters.

1955

The firehall was completed and there was a total of 29 members. The company also purchased an ambulance equipment truck as well as a 1000 gallon tanker.
